Householders recycling centre
Welland Road, Dogsthorpe, PE1 3TD
This site operates free of charge for members of the public to
dispose of their household waste, so that as much as possible can
be recycled.
It is run by a private company on behalf of the council.
Business waste is not accepted at this site. If you want to dispose
of business waste please visit our business waste page.
Opening Times

Late night opening unitl 8pm Mondays and Thursdays

We accept the following items for recycling
- Batteries; including car and normal household batteries
- Cardboard
- Cooking oil
- Electrical items- including white goods
- Fluorescent tubes
- Garden waste
- Gas bottles
- Hardcore and rubble
- Household and garden chemicals
- Mixed glass
- Newspapers and magazines
- Paint
- Paper
- Plastic bottles
- Scrap metal
- Soil
- Textiles; please tie shoes together and place in a plastic
bag
- Used engine oil
If you are using a van or trailer to dispose of your waste you
will need to apply for a permit. These are free of
charge and can be applied for online or over the phone.
If you are looking to dispose of furniture in a reasonable
condition or working electrical white goods please consider passing
these items on to a local charity:

Working white goods can be taken to our WEEE Reuse facility
where they will be redistributed to charities and low income
familes.
Waste is accepted at the site manager's discretion. If you want
