July - September 2011
City centre (6/08/10): A 25
year-old male was walking down River Lane with three friends after
attending the Peterborough United versus Crystal Palace football
match earlier that day and spending some time drinking in the city
centre pubs after the game. As he walked along River Lane the
offender caused damage to a parked car - knocking a wing mirror off
- which was seen by the owner of the vehicle. The offender
immediately admitted he had caused the damage and acknowledged that
he was drunk. He offered to pay for the damage, but had no money on
him at that time. Condition: Paid compensation of
£200.
