Disability Register for children and young people

Service Overview

A voluntary register of children and young people aged 0 - 19 with moderate to profound disabilities. The register is supported by Peterborough City Council and the NHS, is free to join and offers information exchange on future services, for those registered. A downloadable version of the register is available under; Children with disabilities and special educational needs.

By registering a child, families will be made aware of specific support and leisure services available to them in their local area. It provides a quick and accurate way of informing parents and carers of up-to-date information. It may also provide the opportunity to help influence future services by helping the city council understand the needs of children in the city.
