Detailed planning policies and proposals for minerals and waste development are contained in the Minerals and Waste Core Strategy and Site Specific Proposals Development Plan Documents. The documents produced jointly with Cambridgeshire County Council cover the geographical area of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. They form an important part of the Statutory Development Plan.
The Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Minerals and Waste Core Strategy and Site Specific Proposals Development Plan Documents replaced the Cambridgeshire Aggregates (Minerals) Local Plan 1991 and the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Waste Local Plan 2003.
