The Members Services Unit is the inter-face between the public and local councillors. We provide a confidential secretarial service for all Members, including respective political Group work and facilitate the All-Party Policy Planning and Group Policy Planning meetings, as requested. The work involves a great deal of contact with the general public who have varying needs and expectations and in the absence of the Member, MSU staff undertake interviews and instigate enquiries on behalf of Members, keeping them abreast of all work carried out on their behalf.
