Park mark
Peterborough City Council's parking facilities have a safety
seal of approval. Car parks that display the Park Mark
tick, denote the facility has been awarded Park Mark
safer parking status by the Association of Chief Police
Officers’ Safer Parking Scheme - managed by the British Parking
Association.
Car parks that have been awarded safer parking status are
Bishops Road, Wellington Street, Brook Street, Pleasure Fair
Meadow, Car Haven, Trinity Street and Riverside Car Park.
People can park in the Pleasure Fair Meadow
facility for only £3 all day, including 50p to park for one hour at
the Market multi-storey.

Motorcycle parking
There are free secure parking facilities for motorcycles at
the following locations:
- Market Multi Storey
- Regional Pool
All the secure motorcycle locations incorporate stainless steel
low level anchor rails attached to railings. Each anchor rail
incorporates an internal hardened steel bar which will spin freely
on contact with an angle grinder.
Other main car parks
The parking facilities at both Queensgate and Peterborough
Railway Station are NOT run by the city council. For information
regarding these facilities you should call the appropriate number

Season Tickets
The purchase of a season ticket is recommended for those who
park regularly or for longer periods in council car parks.
They are available on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual
basis at a much lower price than the all day parking charge. The
permits are available as either a daytime ticket or for evening
parking only. However, please note that season tickets may not
be used in the following car parks or parking areas:
- Car Haven car park
- Market multi-storey (Floors - Ground, 1 & 2. Evening season
ticket holders may park on any level)
- Regional Pool car park
- Trinity Street car park - specific permits are available for

- Any controlled residential parking places/zones
