Pre-school

Road safety education, training and publicity plays an important role in reducing child casualties, by working in partnership with under 5 establishments we hope to reduce the number of child casualties on our roads.

An excellent way to teach young children  basic road safety messages is through play.  Interactive road safety resources are available for loan free of charge. Please contact roadsafety@peterborough.gov.uk. For lots of ideas for different activities please visit the Department for Transport's education section.

In-car safety

Many children are still travelling unrestrained in the rear of vehicles on Peterborough roads.  Free leaflets and posters are available to help promote this important message.  An in-car safety display and visual safety presentation can be delivered to parents. To find out more please contact the Road safety team.
