The second Peterborough local transport plan strategic environmental assessment

The Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) Directive came into force in the UK on 20 July 2004 through the Environmental Assessment of Plans and Programmes Regulations 2004, and requires an environmental assessment of certain plans and programmes which are likely to have significant effects on the environment. As a transport plan, the Second Peterborough Local Transport Plan falls into this category.

An Environmental Report relating to the Peterborough City Council Second Local Transport Plan (LTP2) has been prepared to fulfil the requirements of the SEA Directive, this also includes a SEA Statement.
