Parking
The major car parks facilities within the city offer over 7000
parking spaces across 20 sites.
Most offer general parking throughout the year, although a
small number may have entry restrictions and some are only open
during special events.
Peterborough City Council runs many of the car parks with some
notable exceptions, such as Queensgate and the main railway station
car park.
Parking Services not only manage the council's 13
off-street car parks in the city centre, providing short and long
stay parking, all with CCTV security, but also the on-street
parking which includes 350 pay and display bays and residents'
parking in the central part of the city.
The council employ Civil Enforcement Officers to
enforce the parking and waiting restrictions throughout the Unitary
area. Enforcement is carried out 7 days a week.
