Cut your carbon footprint
Emissions from transport represent 21% of total UK domestic
emissions so cutting CO2 produced by travel will play a
crucial role in the Government's aim to decrease emissions.
Our Travel Behaviour research shows that between 2004 and 2008,
6400 tonnes of CO2 were saved every year as a result of
people using their car less. Individually, people only replaced a
few of their car trips with other forms of travel but as a whole,
this resulted in a saving of nearly 31 million car km. This goes to
show that small changes really can make a real difference! Visit
