Peterborough Walking Bus
On Wednesday 8 June 2011, Travelchoice set out to break the
Peterborough Walking Bus record. Over 900 pupils from Fulbridge
Primary School and the Beeches Primary School paraded around
Central Park bearing banners and posters which highlighted the
importance of walking buses. The pupils walked one lap of the park,
led by the Travelchoice 'bus driver' before returning to the start
to be greeted by the Mayor of Peterborough who presented goody bags
to the pupils with the best designed banners.
