Businesses can save money on their energy bills by signing up to Peterborough City Council’s latest Ready to Switch scheme.
Save your business money
We launched the collective switching campaign for domestic households in 2012, which enables people to register to change their energy supplier as a big group, all at the same time.
The scheme is now available to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) which have historically been put off switching, because the procedure is so complex as there are many kinds of meters and tariffs, business tarrifs are not published like domestic tariffs, and SMEs cannot switch without following time-bound termination procedures.
In a bid to simplify the procedure, we have teamed up with iChoosr and Make It Cheaper , the UK’s number one energy comparison and switching service for businesses, to help city companies get a better energy deal.
How it works
- Get in touch - call the free 0800 038 0548 number
- Talk to an expert - you will speak with a business energy expert who can help determine when your business can switch and how much you can save (have a bill to hand). You can expect an independent and unbiased comparison of the whole market
- You choose - the service is free to use and free of obligation. If you choose to save money on your bills with Make It Cheaper, you will enter into a new contract with a new supplier. Make It Cheaper will oversee the handover and there will be no interruption to your supply.
More information can be found on the Ready to Switch website.
