We are committed to being a transparent, accountable local authority and to increase the amount of data it publishes for reuse by others.

This supports the national Open Data initiative, which seeks to help all councils produce their data in simple and standardised ways, making it easier for the public to access and understand.

How is the council's information licensed?

The licensing arrangements for each set of data will be indicated on the page where that dataset can be downloaded. Wherever possible, the council will be releasing data for reuse under the terms of the Open Government Licence for public sector information
