Award Nominations form

It's really important to us that we recognise the achievements of our young people in care and those leaving care. We have a number of ways to recognise their achievements:

  • In February each year we hold two events (for different ages) to celebrate the achievements of Children & Young People in Care. This is a scheme to recognise and say ‘well done’ for real achievement for individual young people. All nominees will receive a certificate and medal.
  • We also have a monthly recognition scheme where young people will receive a letter from the Cabinet Member for Children's Services which recognises their achievement.
Who can be Nominated?

Children and Young People in Care and Care Leavers, who have been looked after by Peterborough City Council and are happy to be nominated.

This is your opportunity to nominate a Child or Young Person in Care who you think has achieved something significant for them, in one or more of these categories.

  • Achieving
  • Progressing
  • Supporting
  • Overcoming
