A musical premiere is on this week's Mayor's diary

A school business event and a musical premiere at Peterborough Cathedral are in the mayoral diary this week.

Tuesday 14 February

The Mayor will attend a business challenge event being held at Ken Stimpson Community School in Peterborough. The Duck Enterprise Challenge is organised by The Skills Service. The idea of the challenge is to encourage students to learn real life business skills. The event takes place from 10am to 11am.

Thursday 16 February

The Deputy Mayor and Mayoress will be guests at the premiere of Even You Song, a new work for choir and organ inspired by the themes of Choral Evensong. The concert, a collaboration with Metal Peterborough, is at Peterborough Cathedral from 6.30pm.

Friday 17 February

The Mayor will attend Rushden Town Council Mayor's Civic Ball. The event takes place at Rushden and Higham Rugby Club, Bedford Road, Rushden, from 7pm.

Sunday 19 February

The Mayor will be a guest at an event in Peterborough to mark the 99th anniversary of the Restoration of Lithuanian Independence. The luncheon event is at the Shepherd's Inn, in Park Road, from 12 noon to 2pm.
