An evening of musical entertainment and an antique valuation event are dates in the Mayoral diary this coming week.
Friday 16 March - The Mayor and Mayoress will attend a School of Rock Production at Ormiston Academy in Ortongate, Peterborough, from 6pm until 9pm.
Saturday 17 March - The Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress will attend the Nene Concert Performance at Peterborough Cathedral from 6.30pm to 9pm.
Saturday 17 March - The Mayor and Mayoress will attend the Peterborough Music Festival at the Key Theatre in Embankment Road, Peterborough. The event takes place between 7.15pm and 9.30pm and will feature instrumentalists and signers from across the city competing in the annual competition, which is now entering its 93rd year.
Sunday 18 March - The Mayor and Mayoress will attend a 'Flog It!' style valuation event in the Reception Room at the Town Hall between 10am and 12pm. The event will give members of the public a chance to have possessions valued by a team of auctioneers.
Sunday 18 March - The Mayor and Mayoress will be presenting trophies to players from Peterborough U15's Girls Rugby Club. The event takes place at Peterborough Rugby Union Football Club in Second Drove, Fengate, from 4.30pm and 5.30pm.
Monday 19 March - The Mayor and Mayoress will be attending the annual charity dinner at the Tavan restaurant, Lincoln Road, Peterborough from 7.30pm. Tickets are £20 with all funds raised from the event going to the Mayor's charities and British Friends of Islamgrth Welfare Trust. Tickets can be purchased by contacting Cllr. Tuesday 20 March - The Mayor and Mayoress, Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress will attend a talk by photographer Chris Porsz in the Reception Room at Peterborough Town Hall. Chris will be speaking about photographs he has taken of the city and its residents from over the past 30 years. The event takes place from 7pm until 9.30pm.
