Bondholder Dinner and Diwali Festival to keep Mayor busy

The opening of the Diwali festival and two Opportunity Peterborough events are among the dates in the mayoral diary this week.

Wednesday 19 October - The Mayor will be attending the Opportunity Peterborough Bondholder Breakfast at the Kingsgate Conference Centre between 7.30am to 9am.

Wednesday 19 October - The Mayor will attend the opening of the annual Christmas cards for good causes sale at St John the Baptist Church in the city centre. The opening event takes place between 9.45am-10.45am.

Thursday 20 October - The Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress will be holding an afternoon tea to raise funds for the Mayor’s charities. Members of the public are very much invited to attend the event between 1pm and 3pm at the Town Hall.

Thursday 20 October 
- The Mayor will be attending the annual Opportunity Peterborough Bondholder Dinner at Peterborough Cathedral beginning at 6.45pm.

Saturday 22 October - The Mayor will be lighting a lamp to mark the opening of the year’s Diwali Festival in the city centre. The festival will open at 11am with events taking place until about 6.30pm.
