A candlelit advent service and Christmas crafts fair are among the dates in the Mayoral diary for this coming week.
Tuesday 26 November - The Mayor will enjoy a curry evening at the Bombay Brasserie in Broadway, Peterborough, along with representatives of the three charities he is supporting (Little Miracles, Carers Trust and Friends of Peterborough Hospitals). The event takes place from 6.30pm until 9.30pm.
Friday 29 November - The Mayor will help switch on Christmas tree lights at the Lavender House Care Home in Broadway, Peterborough, from 9.45am to 10.15am.
Friday 29 November - The Mayor will help switch on Christmas lights at the Park Vista Care Home in Park Crescent, Peterborough, from 10.30am to 11.30am.
Friday 29 November - The Mayor will be a special guest at a reading buddy award ceremony at the John Clare Theatre from 1pm to 2.30pm. Reading buddies are helping children to develop their reading skills at a number of schools across Peterborough.
Saturday 30 November - The Mayor will attend an art fair held at the charity Compas in Fitzwilliam Street, Peterborough, from 2pm until 5pm.
Saturday 30 November - The Mayor will be special guest at a ‘Nearly Christmas’ concert performed by the Take Note Community Choir. The event takes place at the Queen Katherine Academy in Mountsteven Avenue, Peterborough, from 7.15pm until 9.45pm.
Sunday 1 December - The Mayor will attend a Christmas craft fair at the South Grove Community Centre in Grove Street, Peterborough, from 12pm to 1pm.
Sunday 1 December - The Mayor will attend a candlelit advent service at Peterborough Cathedral being held to raise funds for Kidney Cancer UK. The service takes place from 4.30pm to 8pm.
