Charity coffee afternoon and Christmas wreath laying in mayoral diary this week

A charity coffee afternoon and a Christmas wreath laying ceremony at the War Memorial are in the mayoral diary this week.

Tuesday 13 December - The Deputy Mayor will attend Heltwate School's Christmas concert. The performance runs at the school in Bretton from 9.15am to 10.30am.

Tuesday 13 December - The Mayor will officially open the new playground area for Year 7 and 8 students at Arthur Mellows Village College, in Glinton, at 10am.

Tuesday 13 December - The Mayor and Deputy Mayor will host a charity coffee afternoon supported by Krispy Kreme at the Town Hall. The event in the reception room is from 1pm to 3pm. Entry is £3. All proceeds go to The Mayor's Charities.

Thursday 15 December - The Mayor and Deputy Mayor will lay a Christmas wreath at the War Memorial at 10am, followed by a reception the Reception Room, Bridge Street, Peterborough between 10.30am and 11.30am.

Thursday 15 December - The Mayor will attend the Royal British Legion Christmas Dinner for Royal British Legion members. The dinner will take place at Peterborough Sports and Leisure Club, Lincoln Road, Peterborough between 5pm and 8pm.

Friday 16 December - The Deputy Mayor will attend the Ducks Enterprise business challenge at Thomas Deacon Academy from 10am. The challenge encourages enterprise from an early age and is run by The Skills Service.

Saturday 17 December - The Deputy Mayor will attend the Kingsgate Christmas Service at Kingsgate Church, Peterborough from 11.15am to 1.15pm.

Sunday 18 December - The Mayor will be a guest at the Fenlands Family Church Nativity. The event is at the Duke of Bedford School in Thorney at 5pm.
