Charity dinner ball and visit from students in Mayor's diary

A charity dinner ball and a visit from exchange students are among the dates in the diary for the Mayor of Peterborough this coming week.

Friday 2 February - The Mayor, Mayoress, Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress will attend a Charity Dinner Ball held by the Mayor of March. The event takes place at the Braza Club in Elm Road, March, from 7pm until 12.30am and will include a five course meal and dancing to ‘The Vintage Party’.

Saturday 3 February - The Mayor, Mayoress, Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress will attend a Civic concert performed by the Band of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines Collingwood. The event is being held at Rushden Town Bowling Club, 144 Northampton Road, Rushden.

Sunday 4 February - The Mayor and Mayoress will attend the annual showcase performance by the East Elite Allstars cheerleaders at Phoenix Gym, in Maxwell Road, Peterborough, from 6pm to 7.30pm.

Monday 5 February - The Mayor and Mayoress will visit the Police Boxing Club at Paston Farm Community Centre in Freston, Peterborough. The club has won awards for its work within the community and the visit will take place between 5.15pm and 6.15pm.

Tuesday 6 February - The Mayor, Mayoress, Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress will attend a visit of exchange students from Peterborough Regional College in the Mayor’s Parlour, Town Hall, Bridge Street, Peterborough, from 10.30am until 12pm.

Tuesday 6 February - The Mayor and Mayoress will attend a Citizenship Ceremony being held in the Council Chambers and Reception Room at Town Hall, Bridge Street, Peterborough from 2pm to 3.30pm.
