Family centre visit and radio station launch keep Mayor busy

A visit to East Rural Family Centre and the launch of a new Peterborough radio station are events in the Mayor's diary this week.

Tuesday 11 April - Mayor to visit East Rural Family Centre on Eyebury Road, Eye, at 9.30am.

Thursday 13 April - Cambridgeshire High Sheriff Richard Pemberton will be attending the Town Hall to meet with the Mayor and for a tour of the building and the city centre at 10am.

Friday 14 April - Mayor to attend the launch of Peterborough Community Radio at Herlington Centre, Orton Malborne, Peterborough, at 11.30am.

Sunday 16 April - Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress to attend the Easter celebration at Kingsgate Community Church, Staplee Way, Parnwell.

Wednesday 19 April - Mayor's charity Easter quiz at the Town Hall at 7pm.

Sunday 30 April - Family fun day at Railworld on Oundle Road between 11am and 4pm.

Friday 19 May - Strictly Cathedral at Peterborough Cathedral from 7pm. The evening begins with a prosecco reception and during the night there will be dancing tutorials from Tu Danse, the chance to try your hand as a Strictly judge and dancing with guests of honour, Strictly Come Dancing winners, Olympic champion Louis Smith MBE and war veteran Lance Corporal Cassidy Little.
