A firework fiesta and symphony concert are dates in the Mayoral diary for the coming week.
Tuesday 30 October - The Mayor and Mayoress will attend a Citizenship Ceremony in the Council Chambers at Peterborough Town Hall from 2pm until 3.30pm.
Wednesday 31 October - The Mayor and Mayoress will be visited by Veronique Borghi, a Municipal Councillor from Bourges and member of the Culture, Tourism, Twinning and International relations commission. Ms Borghi is over to find new links between Bourges and Peterborough, which are twin cities. The visit takes place in the Mayor's Parlour at Peterborough Town Hall from 2pm until 3.30pm.
Thursday 1 November - The Mayor and Mayoress will welcome teachers from colleges overseas to Peterborough Town Hall. The party will meet in the Mayor's Parlour from 3pm until 4pm.
Thursday 1 November - The Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress will attend the launch of Peterborough Commemorates at Peterborough Museum. The project is aimed at bringing communities together to remember men and women who have served in the Armed Forces past and present. The launch event takes place from 6pm until 8pm.
Thursday 1 November - The Mayor and Mayoress will attend the Peterborough Council for Voluntary Services (PCVS) Annual Volunteer Awards ceremony at Peterborough Town Hall. The event takes place in the Reception Room from 6.30pm until 9.30pm.
Saturday 3 November - The Mayor, Mayoress, Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress will attend the Peterborough Firework Fiesta. The popular fireworks display takes place at the East of England Showground from 5pm until 9pm.
Sunday 4 November - The Mayor and Mayoress will attend a Symphony Concert at the Queen Katherine Academy in Walton, Peterborough from 2.30pm until 5pm.
