High Sheriffs Awards and Travelchoice competition keep Mayor busy

Wednesday 17 February: The Mayor and Mayoress will host the High Sheriff's Awards Ceremony. Awards will be presented by the High Sheriff of Cambridgeshire, Victor Lucas, this year to Families First Peterborough and Vivacity. The ceremony will take place in the Mayor's Parlour, Town Hall, Bridge Street, Peterborough between 6pm and 7.30pm.

Thursday 18 February: The Mayor and Mayoress will judge a competition organised by Travelchoice who promote sustainable travel in Peterborough. Pupils across Peterborough's primary schools were asked to submit their design for the 'transport of the future'. The Mayor will judge the entries and announce the winner, whose school will receive a scooterpod made from 100% recycled materials, plus a goody bag for the designer. The judging will take place in the Mayor's Parlour, Town Hall, Bridge Street, Peterborough between 2.30pm and 3pm.
