Hydrotherapy Pool visit in Mayor's diary

A trip to a hydrotherapy pool and a Polish feast are dates in the Mayoral diary this coming week.

Tuesday 10 July - The Mayor and Mayoress will present awards at the Peterborough Deafblind Club's Uncle Sam barbecue. The event takes place at the club in Rainbow Court, Paston Ridings, Peterborough from 7pm until 8.30pm.

Wednesday 11 July - The Mayor and Mayoress will welcome guests to a Strawberry Tea being held at 8 Lyvelly Gardens, Parnwell, Peterborough, to raise funds for Breast Cancer Care. The tea takes place between 12pm and 1.30pm.

Wednesday 11 July - The Mayor and Mayoress will be given a tour of the Dementia Resource Centre in Lincoln Road, Peterborough, between 2pm and 3.30pm.

Thursday 12 July - The Mayor and Mayoress, Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress will meet intrepid cyclists Chris O'Hare and Gabriella Gratrix from Preston, who are stopping off at Peterborough Town Hall as part of a cycling adventure across the world to raise funds for Prevent Breast Cancer. Their visit will take place between 12pm and 1pm.

Friday 13 July - The Mayor and Mayoress, Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress will visit St George's Community Hydrotherapy Pool in Dogsthorpe Road, Peterborough, between 2.30pm and 4.30pm. The Deputy Mayor will join Peterborough MP Fiona Onasanya by taking a dip in the water.

Friday 13 July - The Mayor and Mayoress will celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Peterborough Street Pastors at a special event at St Mary's Church in New Road, Peterborough, between 6.45pm and 8.30pm.

Saturday 14 July - The Mayor and Mayoress, Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress will welcome guests at a Polish feast. The event takes place at the House of Feasts restaurant in Crowland Road, Eye Green, between 1pm and 5pm.
