Lions induction and art exhibition keep Mayor busy

Tuesday 14 June: The Mayor will attend the Peterborough Lions Club Business Meeting, to be inducted as an honorary Lion for the duration of his civic year. The membership ceremony will take place at Ebeneezers, Grove Street, Peterborough between 8pm and 9.45pm.

Friday 17 June: The Mayor will welcome visitors on an official Lithuanian Embassy visit to Peterborough. The visit will include a talk on working together to address issues facing the Lithuanian community, including modern slavery and human trafficking. The visit will take place in the Mayor's Parlour, Town Hall, Bridge Street, Peterborough between 2pm and 3pm. 

Friday 17 June: The Mayor will attend The King's School Art and Design Exhibition. This is an annual celebration of A-Level work from a variety of departments including art, photography, product design and textiles. Both business representatives and a selection of teachers, students and parents will attend the exhibition, which will take place at The King's School, Park Road, Peterborough between 6.30pm and 8pm.

Saturday 18 June: The Mayor will attend Victoria Park Residents' Association Family Fun Day. The Mayor will be asked to open and raise the Green Flag which has been awarded to the gardens in partnership with Amey and Peterborough City Council. The event will take place at Victoria Gardens, Alma Road, Millfield, Peterborough between 1pm and 2pm.

Saturday 18 June: The Deputy Mayor will attend the City of Peterborough Symphony Orchestra Summer Concert. The concert will take place at The Voyager Academy, Mountsteven Ave, Walton, Peterborough between 7.15pm and 9.30pm.
