Macmillan coffee mornings and Metro Bank opening keep the Mayor busy

Macmillan coffee mornings and the opening of the new Metro Bank on Long Causeway are among the events in the Mayor’s diary.


Friday 29 September - The Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress will attend a Macmillan coffee morning at Leeds Hall, High Street, Eye, Peterborough, PE6 7UP from 9.15am to 10.30am.

Friday 29 September - The Mayor and Mayoress will cut a ribbon and declare the new Metro Bank open on Long Causeway, Peterborough, PE1 1YJ from 9.45am to 10.45am.

Friday 29 September - The Mayor and Mayoress will attend a Macmillan coffee morning at Loxley Barbers, The Loxley Community Centre in Werrington, PE4 5BW from 11am to 2pm.

Friday 29 September - The Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress will attend a Macmillan coffee morning at the Peterborough Greyhound Stadium in Fengate, Peterborough, PE1 5BP from 11am to 1pm.

Friday 29 September - The Mayor will show his support at the Sleep Easy event to highlight youth homelessness at Peterborough Cathedral from 8pm to 10pm.

Saturday 30 September - The Mayor, Mayoress, Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress will attend the Feel the Force Day at KingsGate Conference Centre, Staplee Way, Parnwell, Peterborough, PE1 4YT from 11am to 6pm. They will declare the film and TV convention open.

Sunday 1 October - The Mayor, Mayoress, Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress will light a lamp at the Autumn Durgostav 2017 at Longthorpe Village Hall, Peterborough, PE3 6LU from 7.30pm to 10pm.

Tuesday 3 October - The Mayor, Mayoress, Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress will attend an Anglia Ruskin University graduation ceremony at Peterborough Cathedral from 1.15pm to 3.15pm.

Tuesday 3 October - The Mayor, Mayoress, Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress will attend the opening of Bridge Fair on the Embankment and the annual Sausage Supper at the Town Hall.  A procession will leave Town Hall at 6.15pm and the Mayor will open the fair at around 6.30pm.  The Sausage Supper will begin at the Town Hall from 7pm.

Wednesday 4 October - The Mayor and Mayoress will say a few words to launch the Harvest Festival at Cherry Blossom Care Home on Warwick Road, Peterborough, PE4 6DE from 2pm to 3.30pm.
