A Food and Music festival and a Youth Jam are dates in the Mayoral diary for the coming week.
Tuesday 17 July - the Mayor, Mayoress and Deputy Mayoress will attend a meeting with representatives of the Mayor's charities in the Mayor's Parlour at Peterborough Town Hall between 11am and 12.30pm. The Mayor's charities for 2018/19 are; Alzheimer's Society, Deafblind UK and Light Project Peterborough.
Friday 20 July - The Mayor and Mayoress will visit Peterborough 3D printing firm Photocentrics to celebrate the company winning a Queen's Award for International Trade. The award recognises outstanding achievements by businesses for international trade. Their visit takes place between 11.30am and 1.30pm at the company's office in Cambridge House, Oxney Road, Peterborough.
Saturday 21 July - The Mayor and Mayoress will open a Youth Jam in Cathedral Square, Peterborough. The event is being organised by YMCA Trinity Group and The Creset as part of the Peterborough Celebrates programme, giving young people a chance to take the spotlight through live music, theatre and dance. The event starts at 9.30am.
Saturday 21 July - The Mayor and Mayoress, Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress will attend a Music and Food Festival at Peterborough City Market. Fantastic food will be on offer from regular traders and guests and there will be live music, children's rides and face painting. Their visit takes place from 11.30am - 2pm.
Saturday 21 July - The Mayor and Mayoress will make a speech at a networking event aimed at helping to empower women. 'Feast with the King' takes place at the Great Northern Hotel in Peterborough between 6pm and 11pm.
Sunday 22 July - The Mayor and Mayoress will say a few words at a Community Peace Parade which is being held at 109 Aldermans Drive in Peterborough between 12pm and 3.30pm.
