Perkins Great Eastern Run and Durgotsav Festival to keep Mayor busy

Friday 7 October: The Mayor will present prizes at the Outdoor Learning Awards. The event will take place at The Voyager Academy, Mountsteven Avenue, PE4 6HX between 4pm and 6pm.

Saturday 8 October: The Mayor will attend the Autumn Durgotsav Festival at Longthorpe Village Hall between 12noon an 2.30pm.

Saturday 8 October: The Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress will open the Skating Stars Gala. They will also present awards at the event taking place at the Peterborough Winter Sports Club, Planet Ice Arena, Mallard Road between 4pm and 6.30pm.

Sunday 9 October: The Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress will all be in attendance at the Perkins Great Eastern Run. The Mayor will be on the starting rostrum to help get the Anna’s Hope Fun Run, the Perkins Great Eastern Run and the event’s wheelchair race underway. The Mayor will also present awards to the first-placed male and female runners from Peterborough.

The Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress will be taking part in the Anna’s Hope Fun Run raising money for the Mayor's charities. The Perkins Great Eastern Run starts and finishes at the Embankment with the fun run starting at 10am, wheelchair race at 10.25am and half marathon at 10.30am.
