The Peterborough Small Business Awards and a mosque open day are among the dates in the diary for the Mayor of Peterborough this coming week.
Thursday 23 November - The Mayor, Mayoress, Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress will be attending a Pasta Party at the Marriott Hotel in Lynch Wood from 6.30pm to 9.30pm. The event is being sponsored by the hotel and will thank the help and support given by people in the organisation of the Perkins Great Eastern Run.
Friday 24 November - The Mayor, Mayoress and Deputy Mayor will attend a charity afternoon tea in the Mayor's Parlour at the Town Hall from 1.30pm to 4.30pm. The event is open to all members of the public and will raise funds for the mayor's charities.
Friday 24 November - The Mayor will attend a Christmas lights switch-on event at Peterborough City Market, Northminster, PE1 1AY from 3pm to 3.30pm. The event coincides with the launch of a Christmas draw with the chance to win a festive hamper of market produce.
Friday 24 November - The Mayor and Mayoress will attend a production of the musical 'Annie' at Peterborough School in Thorpe Road from 6.30pm to 9pm.
Friday 24 November - The Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress will attend the Peterborough Royal Signals Association's annual Christmas dinner at the Holiday Inn in Thorpe Wood, PE3 6SG from 6.45pm to 9pm.
Saturday 25 November - The Mayor will attend an Interfaith Conference at the Thomas Deacon Academy in Queen's Gardens PE1 2UW from 1pm to 4pm.
Saturday 25 November - The Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress will attend an Autumn Concert by the Peterborough Choral Society at Peterborough Cathedral from 7.15pm to 9.30pm.
Sunday 26 November - The Mayor and Mayoress will attend and make a speech at the International Day Celebration at the City of Grace Church at Wellington Street from 10.40am to 11.40am. The event will celebrate diversity through music, dance and food.
Sunday 26 November - The Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress will attend a mosque open day at the Faizan-e-Madinah Mosque in Gladstone Street, PE1 2BN from 1.30pm to 4.30pm.
Sunday 26 November - The Mayor and Mayoress will present an award to a category winner at the Peterborough Small Business Awards at the Peterborough Arena from 6.30pm to 11pm.
Sunday 26 November - The Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress will cut a cake and present an award at the Dominion Christian Connections Awards Night at the Great Northern Hotel from 6.30pm to 11pm.
Wednesday 27 November - The Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress will present recipients with their Duke of Edinburgh Awards in the Reception Room at Town Hall from 6pm to 8.15pm.
