Poignant ceremony in Mayoral diary

A Ladies' night and poignant remembrance service are dates in the Mayoral diary for the coming week.

Thursday 19 April - The Mayor and Mayoress, Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress will attend a visit from the 20th Peterborough Guides group. The event takes place in the Mayor’s Parlour at Peterborough Town Hall from 6.30pm until 7.30pm.

Friday 20 April - The Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress will attend a Ladies' Night with the Peterborough Volunteer Fire Brigade at the Bull Hotel in Westgate Peterborough from 7pm until 12am.

Saturday 21 April - The Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress will make a short speech at Clayburn Court care home as part of a special event to celebrate National Care Home Day. The event takes place between 2pm - 4pm at the care home, in Clayburn Road, Peterborough.

Wednesday 25 April - The Mayor and Mayoress, Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress will attend an Anzac Commemorative Service at Broadway Cemetery, Broadway in Peterborough between 2.15pm and 3.30pm. The annual event is held as part of national Anzac Day, to remember the sacrifices made by Australian and New Zealand soldiers.

Wednesday 25 April - The Mayor and Mayoress, Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress will make a speech at the Peterborough Civic Awards ceremony. The event takes place in the Reception Room at Peterborough Town Hall from 5.30pm until 9pm.
