Results from the parliamentary and local by-election

Labour's Fiona Onasanya has been elected as Member of Parliament for Peterborough.  The turnout for the vote was 66.95 per cent.

The North West Cambridgeshire parliamentary election was won by Shailesh Vara for the Conservatives. The turnout was 68.8 per cent.

The East ward by-election was won by Matthew Mahabadi for Labour. The turnout was 53.1 per cent.

This result means the city council remains in no overall control.
