School tour and Battle of Britain service keep Mayor busy

A tour of All Saints' Primary School and a parade and service for the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain are among the dates in the mayoral diary next week.

Tuesday 22 September: The Mayor and Mayoress will visit All Saints' Primary School to have a tour of the school and meet some of the pupils. The visit will take place at All Saints' Primary School, Dogsthorpe Road, Peterborough between 2pm and 3.30pm.

Wednesday 23 September: The Mayor and Mayoress will visit Peterborough Regional College to have a tour of their facilities and to meet some of the students. The visit will take place at Peterborough Regional College, Park Crescent, Peterborough between 2pm and 4pm.

Wednesday 23 September: The Mayor and Mayoress will attend a production of Pirates of Penzance complete with full orchestra. The production will take place at the Key Theatre, Embankment Road, Peterborough between 7.15pm and 10pm.

Thursday 24 September: The Mayor will cut a ribbon at the grand opening of the new Aldi store in Hampton. The opening will take place at Brickburn Close, Hampton Centre, Peterborough between 7.30am and 8.30am.

Thursday 24 September: The Mayor and Mayoress will attend and make a speech at the Clayburn Court VIP opening ceremony by the provider Anchor. Clayburn Court is an extra care facility.  The opening will take place at Clayburn Road, Hampton, Peterborough between 12 noon and 2pm.

Thursday 24 September: The Mayor and Mayoress will attend the University Centre Peterborough Graduation Ceremony which will be attended by members of Anglian Ruskin University and Peterborough Regional College.  The event will take place at The Bull Hotel, Westgate, Peterborough starting at 4pm.  There will be a procession of students to Peterborough Cathedral.

Friday 25 September: The Mayor and Mayoress will visit Van Hage Christmas Extravaganza to launch their new Christmas displays and seasonal products.  The event will take place at Van Hage Garden Centre, Peterborough Garden Park, Peterborough between 11.30am and 2pm.

Saturday 26 September: The Mayor and Mayoress will enjoy a production of Musical Moments performed by students from Voyager Academy. The show will be jointly hosted by Hereward Harmony and Singcronicity. The performance will take place at Voyager Academy, Mountsteven Avenue, Walton, Peterborough between 7.15pm and 10pm

Sunday 27 September: The Mayor and Mayoress will inspect veterans and cadets prior to the parade by the South East and Eastern Area RAF Association to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain. The service and parade will take place on Cathedral Square, Peterborough between 2.45pm and 4.45pm
