Showhome opening and charity event keep Mayor busy

A new showhome opening and an event for the Mayor's charities are among the dates in the mayoral diary next week.

Monday 11 January
: The Mayor and Mayoress will visit the Amey depot where the Mayor will be shown how Amey's operations work, with a short presentation and a tour of the facilities. The visit will take place at Nursery Lane, Fengate, Peterborough between 11am and 2pm.

Saturday 16 January: The Mayor and Mayoress will cut a ribbon and officially open the showhome from developer Keepmoat, which is launching the second phase of its housing development at Roman Fields, Manor Drive, Paston Parkway, Peterborough. The opening will take place between 11.15am and 11.45am.

Sunday 17 January: The Mayor, Mayoress and Deputy Mayor will host the Mayor's Charity Winter Supper at Ibrahimi Restaurant, 63 Sycamore Avenue, Dogsthorpe, Peterborough between 6pm and 9.30pm.

The event is in aid of the Mayor's charities Age UK Peterborough, Hope into Action, Scout and Guide Movement and Combined Cadet Force.  Tickets are still available, priced at £17.50 per person, and can be booked by emailing or calling 07506 388718.
