Summer fete and Green Festival keep Deputy Mayor busy

A summer fete to raise funds for the Hydrotherapy Pool and the launch of the annual Green Festival are among the dates in the mayoral diary next week.

Saturday 13 August
: The Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress will attend St George's Community Hydrotherapy Pool Summer Fete. The annual fundraising summer fete is run by The Friends and Service Users group who raise funds for equipment and other items.  The event will take place at St. George's Community Hydrotherapy Pool, 367 Dogsthorpe Road, Peterborough and the Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress will visit the fete between 10.30am and 11.30am.

Saturday 13 August: The Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress will visit the annual Green Festival. The Green Festival celebrates eco initiatives taking place across Peterborough and is run by the independent charity Peterborough Environment City Trust.  The festival will include everything from sustainable transport, recycling, locally produced food to nature and biodiversity. The Deputy Mayor and Mayoress will attend the festival at Cathedral Square, Peterborough between 12pm and 1pm.
