Update on postal vote ballot forms

An update from Gillian Beasley, chief executive of Peterborough City Council, regarding postal vote ballots in Peterborough and North West Cambridgeshire constituencies.

Today (Thursday) letters and new postal ballots will be sent out first class post to everyone who has been affected.

We can confirm 1730 postal votes were affected across the two constituencies.

We are now clear on the scale and the number of wards that have been affected. Ninety per cent of incorrect papers fall within North, Park and Stanground East wards, but the breakdown of incorrect papers sent by ward is as follows… 

NW Cambs

Barnack - 5
Fletton & Woodston – 8
Glinton & Wittering – 10
Orton Longueville – 6
Orton Waterville – 8
Orton with Hampton – 7
Stanground Central – 132
Stanground East – 366 

NW Cambs total = 542

Peterborough

North – 431
Park – 757

Peterborough total = 1188 

Total = 1730
