Owners of classic cars and vehicles can get into gear and enter their pride and joy into this year’s Peterborough Classic and Vintage Vehicle Show.
Visitors from all over the region are expected to flock to Peterborough’s Embankment on Saturday 2 September and Sunday 3 September 2017 to admire the many shining chassis on display.
Organised by Peterborough City Council, the show which is now in its fourth year is shaping up to be the biggest of its kind in East Anglia.
The show is open to classic and vintage cars and caravans, motorcycles, scooters, commercial and agricultural vehicles, buses, ex-military and other forms of transport from yesteryear to modern classics.
The variety of vehicles expected to be on show range from Jaguar to Lotus, and from Chevrolet to Alfa Romeo.
Councillor Janet Goodwin, cabinet member for city centre management, culture and tourism, said: "The Peterborough Classic and Vintage Vehicle Show is fast becoming the must attend event for any discerning classic car owner or enthusiast in the region.
"With more than 500 vehicles at last year's event interest in this September's show is already high and we expect to have a fantastic range of cars and vehicles on display.
"The event is aimed at all ages, so it’s a great weekend for car enthusiasts or families wanting a fun and interesting day out."
The event, which is free to attend, will also feature a host of shopping opportunities, hot food stalls and entertainment.
Vehicle registrations can be made through the online form.
