Youngsters looking to keep active during the school summer holidays are invited to take part in tennis summer camps.
The camps, organised by Dynamic Tennis in conjunction with Peterborough City Council and Vivacity, are being run weekly starting from Monday 22 July and take place in Central Park and at Bushfields Leisure Centre.
The sessions are flexible - you can sign up for a morning or afternoon or take part in full day or full week if you would prefer.
Jamie Fenton, culture and leisure development manager at Peterborough City Council, said: “Children taking part will improve their technique, physical fitness and on-court skills. Every day is action packed with team games, tennis drills, matches, at all levels. Places are limited so we’d advise anyone interested to book asap.
“All equipment will be provided, so please ensure that your child is wearing suitable clothing for all weather. Children will need to bring sun-cream or waterproofs with them – just in case. And don’t forget a packed lunch and water bottle if staying all day.”
The camps are running from week beginning 22 July, 29 July and 5 August. Morning sessions take place from 9am – 12pm with cost £12 per session or £45 for the week.
Afternoon sessions take place from 12pm – 3pm and also cost £12 per session or £45 for the week.
Full Day sessions are from 9am – 3pm and cost £16 per session or £70 for the week. A sibling discount of 10 per cent is available.
