Young people praised for GCSE work

24 August 2023

Young people in Peterborough receiving GCSE results this week have been praised for their hard work and dedication.

Cllr Lynne Ayres, Peterborough City Council’s Cabinet Member for Children's Services, Education, Skills and the University, said: “Peterborough’s young people have again shown the most astonishing creativity and positive mindset throughout their GCSE work and exams, displaying a determination and maturity beyond their years. I am proud of them all and excited to see what the future holds for them.

“We would also like to make young people aware that there is range of help available right now, specifically aimed at supporting those unsure where to turn after exam results.”
