A special event is being held this month to help recruit support workers for the council’s reablement team.
A recruitment event takes place at Peterborough Town Hall on Friday 15 March from 10am – 3pm.
Support workers are based in the community, visiting residents in their homes and providing them with the care and support they require to meet their individual daily goals. These could include support in helping clients to learn techniques to stand up unaided, dress themselves, take medication accurately and keep their home clean.
No previous experience is required, as full training will be given to new starters, however, a full UK driver's license or EU license is needed.

Anyone attending the event is asked to please bring a CV, three forms of identification, National Insurance and proof of address. Care qualification can be brought along, if applicable.
