Support available to work experience applicants with additional needs

We want to make work experience as accessible as possible for all young people. We are committed to making reasonable adjustments in our work experience programme, particularly to support inclusivity for individuals with:

  • Disabilities
  • Health conditions
  • Other specific needs

This commitment aligns with the Equality Act 2010, which requires us to ensure that people with disabilities have equal access to opportunities.

We are also committed to advancing equity for all students on work experience. This goes beyond providing support for disabilities. It's about recognising and addressing various barriers that may affect different groups. This ensures that every young person has an equal opportunity to learn and benefit from the experience.

If you require any reasonable adjustments during the process, you can tell us during application process or before you start work placement with us.

Through adjustments we can ensure that work experience is a positive, accessible, and supportive opportunity for young people from diverse backgrounds.
