Notice of Proposals
The Council of the City of Peterborough
Oxford Road and Stone Lane - One Way Street Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that The Council of the City of Peterborough proposes to make the above mentioned Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to 2(4), 4(2) and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, ‘the Act of 1984’ and of all other enabling powers.
The effect of this Order is to make the following roads into one way streets as follows:
- Oxford Road in a south-westerly direction between its junctions with Alexandra Road and Lincoln Road
- Stone Lane in a north-easterly direction between its junctions with Lincoln Road and Alexandra Road
All vehicles are therefore prohibited from undertaking the following manoeuvres.
a) entering Oxford Road from its junction with Lincoln Road
b) entering Stone Lane from its junction with Alexandra Road
Copies of the draft order, along with a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, can be requested by contacting 01733 747474 or trafficregulation@peterborough.gov.uk.
If you have any comments on the proposed Order they must be submitted to the following email address trafficregulation@peterborough.gov.uk or in writing to the undersigned by the closing date of 28th June 2024 clearly stating your reasons for objecting.
