Our Housing Needs Service provides information and support to residents who are sleeping rough, homeless, at risk of becoming homeless or want to join the Housing Register. They also offer a housing advice service that covers various subjects for tenants, homeowners or those with no fixed address.
In addition, we have other teams in the council responsible for Housing Standards in Peterborough, plus schemes relating to home energy, home adaptations and assistive technology for the home.

- Reablement - a programme of short-term support tailored to your needs, to help you (re)learn the skills needed for daily living and reduce the amount of care you need.
- Occupational therapy - a home assessment to provide expert advice on equipment and adaptations which can help you retain your independence and stay at home.
- Technology enabled care - equipment to help you stay at home for longer, such as lifeline pendants, medication prompts, sensor mats and more.
