Standing Advisory Council for Religious Education (SACRE)
Local authorities have a duty to establish a Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education (SACRE) to advise them on matters relating to collective worship in community schools and on religious education. Religious education is a statutory part of the basic curriculum for all pupils.

Peterborough Virtual School
Peterborough Virtual School is a team of teachers and dedicated education professionals who work to support and improve educational outcomes for all Peterborough children and young people who have or have had a social worker.
School Organisation Plan
As a council, we have a statutory duty to make sure there are enough school places available for children in Peterborough.
Our Education Capital and Place Planning Service works with a wide range of education providers to deliver sufficient, good quality school places in Peterborough. They also monitor the number of school places, surplus and shortfalls, family movement across the city, live birth rates, parental preference, school standards, inward migration figures and new housing developments to predict future pupil place demand.
