Consultation Started: 11 Dec 2020 - Consultation Ended: 22 Jan 2021

Resolved: At the end of the petition period

Peterborough City Council is carrying out a public consultation during which time residents, businesses, community groups and visitors to Peterborough as well as interested parties can have their say on the proposed Millfield, New England, Eastfield and Embankment Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO). The council would like to implement the PSPO to be in effect for 3 years.

On 4 August 2020 the previous Public Spaces Protection Order for Millfield, New England, Eastfield and Embankment expired. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic it wasn't possible to review, carry out a fair consultation and re-implement the existing order prior to the expiration date. It is now being proposed that a new order is implemented in the area with some additional and varied conditions.

A copy of the Draft Order, statement of reasons, supporting evidence and maps relating to the proposed implementation of the Order can be found below.

Further information about the other PSPOs within the city can be found on the Public Spaces Protection Orders page.

Have your say
