People in Peterborough will have their say on who represents them as Member of Parliament at the General Election. In Peterborough, there are two MP seats - Peterborough and North-West Cambridgeshire. These will be counted at Kingsgate Conference Centre on Thursday 4 July 2024. The results will be declared in the early hours of Friday morning. The deadline for prospective candidates to submit their nomination papers for one of these seats is 4pm tonight (Friday 7 June). The Statement of Persons nominated will then be published on the council’s web page as soon as possible after the deadline on the same date. To vote in the election, members of the public will need to make sure they have registered to vote. They will also need to apply before the deadline if they intend to vote by post or proxy.
