Resolved: At the end of the petition period
Consultation to vary and extend City Centre Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) and to vary the Millfield, New England, Eastfield and Embankment PSPO
We are carrying out a public consultation from Friday 12 December 2025 to 9 January 2026 during which time residents, businesses and visitors to Peterborough as well as interested parties can have their say on proposals to:
- Vary the City Centre Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) and extend for three years.
- Vary the Millfield, New England, Eastfield and Embankment PSPO.
The current City Centre order was implemented for three years on 28 April 2023 and we would like to extend the PSPO for a further three years. We proposes to vary the order's conditions in relation to consumption and open vessels of alcohol and antisocial behaviour (ASB).
We are also proposing to vary the conditions in relation to consumption and open vessels of alcohol and ASB within the Millfield, New England, Eastfield and Embankment PSPO.
A copy of the consultation document, existing and draft orders and maps can be found below. Further information about the other PSPOs within the city can be found on the Public Spaces Protection Orders page.
