About the courses
Our Environmental Health Team are running two training courses on 20 October 2026. Both courses are aimed at anyone who works with or who is responsible for providing safe food.
The Food Hygiene training course is based around the Food Standards Agency's Pack: Safer Food Better Business (SFBB). It will cover aspects of legal requirements, best practice and common mistakes made by food businesses. Staff training and competence are important criteria in the food hygiene rating assessment.
The Allergen and Hypersensitivity training course is also based around the SFBB pack safe method of food allergies, but allows the opportunity to explore this subject in more detail.
Both courses are good grounding for anyone new to the profession or as a refresher to those with many years of experience.
