Feel more confident in your cycling abilities with our adult training sessions.

Funded by the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority, and with the aim to help more people get into cycling, these sessions are open to people with all levels of experience.

They’re free to attend and can be taken one-to-one, as a group or as a family. The courses are tailored to what you want to learn and get better at.

You can either bring your own bike or use one that’s provided for you and sessions will be held in small, traffic-free areas.

Or, if you’re feeling more confident, you will be supported to ride out onto local roads.

Below are the locations and dates for upcoming sessions:

Nene Valley Community Centre, PE2 9RE
22 July, 1 & 12 Aug, 15 Nov

The Lido, PE2 9RE
23 July, 2 & 13 Aug, 14 Nov

Central Park, PE1 4DX
1, 5 & 27 Sept, 5 Oct

Councillor Angus Ellis, cabinet member for transport for Peterborough City Council, said, “I’m really pleased to support these free sessions for adults across Peterborough. Whether you're getting back on a bike, building your confidence, or wanting to feel safer on the roads, there’s something for everyone.

“This is a great opportunity to help people and families get active and enjoy cycling with confidence, so I want to encourage people to get involved.”
