A Cabinet decision to approve the disposal of the council’s freehold interest in the New England Complex, Lincoln Road, Peterborough, following a competitive Best and Final Offer (BAFO) has been called-in for further consideration.
The Cabinet decision was made at a meeting that took place on Tuesday 16 December 2025.
The call-in request has been made by councillors Roger Antunes, Ann Shaheed and Asif Shaheed.
An Extraordinary meeting of the Sustainable Future City Council Scrutiny Committee will now take place on a date yet to be agreed to hear the reasons for the call-in and debate next steps.
