Old Lincoln Road - Deeping Gate Driving Order

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Peterborough, (herein after referred to as “the Council”) proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1, 2 and 3 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit the driving of vehicles on the following length of road:

Old Lincoln Road, Deeping Gate – access to this road will be restricted by way of bollards for a distance of 36m north of the B1162. This order is to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road to which the order relates or any other road

There will be exceptions for vehicles being used for Fire, Ambulance and Police services and for the purposes of maintenance of the Highway and access to adjoining land.
